What is classmait and who is it for?
classmait is your study space in one place: timetable, subjects, grades, documents, school email and an AI assistant that knows all of it. It’s made for students at any level, from secondary school to university, in any country: it adapts to your grading system, your calendar and your language (English, Spanish, French or German). The idea is that you stop hunting for information in ten different places.
Does it work with my school or university?
Yes. classmait doesn’t need any agreement with your school: it works with what you already have. You paste the calendar link (iCal) from your virtual campus, Google Calendar or Outlook, forward your school email and upload your documents. From there, classmait builds your timetable, organises your subjects and recognises your platforms (Moodle, Teams, Classroom…) so they’re one click away.
How does my school email get into classmait?
When you create your space you get a personal classmait address. You just set up a forwarding rule in your email (Outlook, Gmail, iCloud or your school’s); the in-app guide walks you through each step, including how to bring in older emails. If you use Gmail, you can also connect it directly with read-only access. Then you read your emails and their attachments inside classmait.
What does the AI do with my emails and documents?
It reads them to organise everything for you: it spots grades, exam and deadline dates, school rules, platforms and contacts, and puts them in the right place without duplicates. The Classmait assistant also uses your documents to explain a topic, write a summary or prepare quiz questions, and it can add dates or grades to your space when you ask.
Is my data safe?
Your data travels encrypted and is stored on servers in the European Union (Paris). Every account is isolated: only you can see yours. We show no ads and never sell your data. You can export everything or delete your account at any time from Settings, and the privacy policy explains in detail what is stored and why.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. classmait works in the browser of any computer, tablet or phone, with nothing to install, and on phones it has its own navigation bar. Everything syncs instantly: check your timetable on your phone on the way to class and upload your notes from your computer.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
It can happen, as with any AI, especially when an email or document is ambiguous. That’s why everything classmait adds can be reviewed, edited or deleted in one click, and whatever you delete is kept in case you want it back. For important things (an exam date, an official grade), always double-check with your school.
